We are a Quaker meeting that is local to Lincoln and which gathers in the historic Grade II Friends Meeting House, located near the city centre.
Quakers (also known as Friends) meet here both in person and via Zoom every Sunday at 11:00. This is for our shared silence in the Quaker tradition, which we call Meeting for Worship.
All are welcome to join us.
If you're a newcomer then there's no need for an introduction, just come along. Or, if you would like to talk to someone first, please contact us.
Also, we hold regular events and have rooms available to hire.
Our meeting is one of eight that combine together to form Lincolnshire Quaker Area Meeting.
Meeting for Worship is held every Sunday at 11:00 in the Meeting House for about an hour.
Hot drinks and a chat are shared after the meeting.
In common with worship groups across the UK and the world, Covid-19 disrupted our time-honoured ways of worship.
Lincolnshire Area Quaker Meeting now offers both live and Zoom meetings.
Lincoln Meeting House is open on Sundays but, as of the 10th December, the requirements to wear a mask in places of worship has come into effect once more. The Meeting House will be ventilated to be as Covid secure as possible.
